Discover how our ancestors lived in Masia de Castelló

Located between Masboquera and Vandellòs, Castelló is one of the uninhabited villages in the municipality. This medieval village, which was abandoned in the 1950s, is brought back to life several times a year thanks to the events organised by the Associació Masia de Castelló (Masia de Castelló Association). In December, don't miss the living Nativity scene: el Pessebre dels Estels.

However, even just walking through its streets, it is easy to imagine what life would have been like here decades ago, in the middle of the mountains and in a much wilder environment than today. It is also interesting to see the distribution of the streets and the different types of houses, designed for a purely rural life.
