Naturist bathing in the Torn beach

The Torn beach is an outstanding beach due to its excellent degree of natural preservation. It is undoubtedly one of the symbols of L'Hospitalet de l'Infant i la Vall de Llors, and one of the most photographed beaches on the Costa Daurada. Its islet, with the remains of a medieval watchtower at the top, stands out. Another highlight is the viewpoint situated at the top of the protected natural area of La Rojala. In these surroundings you can find a good example of the typical Mediterranean pine forest. There is also a hiking route that takes you to the Torn viewpoint, where you can enjoy fantastic views of the beach and also of the coastal strip of L'Hospitalet de l'Infant.

La Rojala-Platja del Torn is the only protected area on the coast from Tarragona to the Ebro’s delta. The uniqueness of the area is due to the fact that it is one of the few stretches of the coastline that has not been affected by the urbanisation process. It is also a coastal area of transition between the Mediterranean landscape and features of northern characteristics, with notable landscape values and coastal vegetation.
